A journey into French music from Offenbach to Gainsbourg.
Fresh from their tour of Devon and Cornwall, Fifi la Mer and Oliver Wilby present a unique show that will take you on a journey through 100 years of French music, from Offenbach to Gainsbourg. The show features the dulcet tones of Fifi on accordion and voice, and the talents of Oliver on tenor saxophone, clarinet and piano accordion. Together they will transport you to “the city of lights" with their repertoire of musical gems, and along the way you will get to enjoy tales of mystery, romance and heartache that we so often associate with Paris. Brace yourself for an exiting and charismatic performance.
When not touring with this show Fifi leads the Oh La La! Quintet which played to a sell out audience at the Ilminster Arts Centre in January.
Oliver Wilby regularly tours with the Pasadena Roof Orchestra and the Ray Gelato Giants amongst others.
